“Good morning, Nicky.” You said as you came up behind him. He was sitting at the kitchen table with a plate of food in front of him and his coffee. You wrapped your arms around him before walking over to the other seat to sit down.
“Is that my sweater?” Nick asks with a chuckle. You looked down at what you were wearing and nodded.
“Sorry, I can go change? It was just the first thing I saw when I woke up.” You cheeks turned pink as Nick reached over the table to hold your hand.
“You’re fine.” Nick smiled. His beautiful brown eyes just watched you as your cheeks began to heat up more.
“Nick, why are you staring at me?” You asked. He blinked a few times before a chuckle left his lips.
“It’s just, I can’t get over how a few months ago I wanted to learn your name and now you’re having breakfast with me in my sweater.” Nick said with a large smile. You got up from your seat and sat down in his lap to kiss his cheek.
“Really, Nicky? You mean that?”
“Every last word.” Nick said as he pressed his lips softly against yours.
