Lately, getting to spend time with Nick was pretty non-existent. He started working overtime here and there so that he could afford a plane ticket to go see Zara and that left you home by yourself pretty often. When Nick was home he was either in a bad mood or so exhausted that the only thing he could manage was to give you a kiss. When he came back from his week-long trip to visit his daughter, he seemed different but you couldn’t really put your finger on what it was. That is until you found something hiding in his underwear drawer.
You were folding and putting away laundry while Nick was taking a shower, the majority of it is his clothes. Nick had once again been working all day and putting away his laundry meant one less thing for him to do. Having almost all the clothes put away, you opened his underwear drawer and a small pink string poked out. Looping your pinky in the string, you lift out a pink thong that you had never seen in your life.
You were pissed… And panicked.
Dropping the thong onto yours and Nick’s shared bed, you grab his phone. He always said he has nothing to hide so he made his password your birthday so that you’ll be able to get into it and you did the same for him. To be honest, you’ve never checked his phone before but you use to get into it and take pictures of yourself and leave cute reminders – you know, cute stuff. This time as you press your fingers to the screen and type in your birthday it denies you access and trying two more times proves his password is changed, so you sit there on the edge of the bed and wait.
“Hey, what are you doing?” Nick asks as he walks in from the bathroom, noticing how on edge you look.
“Did you change your password?” You point to his phone and a look of annoyance washes over his face.
“What? You don’t trust me?” He scoffs as he rolls his eyes, turning to his opened underwear drawer and after just a moment his movement froze and he slowly turned around to face you.
“Looking for these?” You ask as you hold the underwear in the air between your index finger and thumb
