– Sonny plans Mike’s outfits bc Mike is pretty bad at the whole “coordination” thing.
– He also cooks for the both of them all the time, including lunches that they can eat at the precincts. Mike’s lunchboxes always wind up with sweet little notes folded between Tupperware containers.
– Mike learned how to do hospital corners because that’s how Sonny likes the bed to be made up. After a steamy night, while Sonny is sitting in the bath, he runs to quickly change the covers because he knows how much Sonny hates a mess.
– Mike ties Sonny’s ties because even though he’s not very good at, he tries and Sonny thinks it’s really cute
– Late at night, when Mike can’t quite fall asleep, Sonny reads to him. Anything within reach is fair game, whether it’s a fantasy novel that Sonny’s halfway through or a law journal. His voice is deep and soothing, even with his accent that seems thicker when he talks so slow.
– When Sonny cries, Mike is always there to hold him and run his fingers through his hair. He just needs to let it all out, be told that everything’s gonna be okay.
