littlefrog-14:

Mike came through the apartment door dropping his bag on the floor and surking off his suit jacket. “Honey. I’m home.”

“Welcome home, dear,” you said in greeting as you walked into the living room. Stretching up on tiptoe you pressed a kiss to Mike’s lips. “Happy 1st Anniversary, babe,” you said with a smile.

“Its been one of the best years of my life.” His finger brushed down your cheek.

Isaac squealed and looked up at you from where he was bouncing in his exersaucer.

“Hey there buddy,” Mike said as he leaned over to lift Isaac into his arms.

“He got a new shirt today, Daddy.” A smile crossed your face s you waited for his reaction.

“Oh yeah? Let’s see. Big brother status February 2016.” Mike’s eyes darted from Isaac to you. “Really? You’re pregnant!” Mike’s eyes glistened with unshed tears.

“Yeah. Got the for sure this morning,” you murmured.

“This is the best present. I love you so much.” He pulled you in for a hug with Isaac sandwiched between the two of you.

“Love you too babe.” Wrapping your arms around your guys.

Confessing feelings under snow + Sonny bc he’d be cliche like that

“It’s so pretty,” you marveled. The white lights from the Christmas trees reflected off the blanket of freshly fallen snow. Manhattan had already got 5 inches and more was in the forecast for overnight.

“I love new snow,” Sonny said as he maneuvered you through the pleathera of evergreens. “See one you like?”

A gust of cold air blew through the trees. You snuggled in closer to Sonny’s side. He grinned as his grip on your shoulder tightened. “We can head back if you want,” he offered.

“I don’t want to go home empty handed. I’ve never had a live Christmas tree,” you told Sonny.

“Never had a live tree? Blasphemy!” Sonny pointed over to a group of smaller trees that would fit better in your apartment. “Stick with me doll. We’ll get the perfect tree.”

Twenty minutes later you tree was being loaded. You were so excited you were actually giddy. The thought of being at home with Sonny and decorating a tree, drinking hot cocoa made you feel warm all over.

Sonny came behind you putting an arm around you neck and kissing your head. “I love you.” He turned you to face him. “And one day I’m gonna marry you and we’re gonna have kids that get just as excited as you when we put up a tree.”

Your eyes grew wide. That was a lot to confess but you knew he meant every word of it. And like in some movie the sky opened up and snow fell around you. A few flakes fell onto Sonny’s mustache. “I love you too.” Sonny leaned down a pressed his soft, cold lips to yours. The kiss deepened quickly and both of you had to remember you were in public. When he broke away, you looked up at him. “That sounds like the perfect Christmas. ”

Kissing Mike in the snow because of admiration. ❤️

“Who’s idea was it to go for a run when it was snowing?” you asked Mike breathlessly. For the most part you could keep up with Mike. He was holding back a bit though.

Mike had been doing so well the last few months. Despite the recent stress of getting custody of Beckett. He was coming home at decent times, not drinking, spending time with the kids and was healthier physically and mentally. You admired all he had beat.

“Hey. You agreed. "Plus,” he took a big breath, “it was just flurries when we left.” Large, white snow flakes were swirling around you and Mike and as your way through the park.

Feeling a stitch in your side, you slowed your pace, then stopped. You braced your hands on your thighs and leaned over. “I’m gonna rest.” For. A minute,“ you huffed out.

Mike jogged back to you. "Hop up,” he instructed.

“A piggyback ride?” you said with a giggle.

“Wanna get home don’t you?” He said with a raised brow.

Actually you wished you had stayed home with the kids and your Mom that had come in to visit. You nodded your head. With a little hip you were on Mike’s back.

It took twice as long to get home, but neither of your were complaining. The snow was really coming down. The sidewalks, roads were snow covered. It was actually beautiful. Mike set you down at the bottom of the stairs in front of your brownstone. “C’mere.” You grabbed his scarf and pulled him down for a kiss.

“What was that for?” Mike asked. A huge smile broke over his face.

“Cause I can,” you said wryly.

“you could do it, i wouldn’t stop you” with sonny?

“This is our fifth date,” Sonny said as the two of you walked down the street. He reached to intertwine fingers and slowly brushed his thumb over your knuckles.

“I know. I’ve been counting too,” you replied softly. After about a month you were falling hard for Sonny. You turned your face up to study his profile. Goodness, he was handsome. His lips pink and pouty. Perfect for kissing.

“Whoa. Be careful there!” Sonny gently tugged on your hand. “Where were you just now? You about ran into that sign.”

“Oh- uh- nothing.” You averted your gaze as you felt your cheeks flush. Thankfully you and Sonny had reached the restaurant.

During dinner, you and Sonny talked about him applying to law school, and you studying for ER certification. Every conversation you had with Sonny was entertaining, and you learned something new about him.

“I was thinking we could go for a walk through the park, then get some gelato,” Sonny suggested.

“Gelato is my favorite.” You smiled at Sonny.

“I remember you telling me. I remember everything you’ve told me about yourself,” Sonny told you.

“So,” Sonny said. He took your hands, gazing down at you.

“I really want to kiss you,” you confessed.

“You could do it, I wouldn’t stop you,” Sonny responded.

Grabbing the collar of his jacket, you stood on tiptoe. At first, your kiss was soft, then Sonny deepened the kiss. His arms wrapped around your waist pulling you flush to him. He parted your lips with his tongue. The world around muted, it was just you and Sonny.

“Wow,” you said after you broke away from his lips.

“Wow,” he echoed your words. Sonny cleared his throat. “I don’t want to say good night. Come back to my place? All innocent, I swear. I just want to be with you.”

You gently bit your bottom lip, looking up at him. “What if I don’t want innocent.”

Sonny’s mouth dropped open. “Yeah-yeah, that’s…God, yes. I’d love that.”

“See how Daddy is holding it? All the way at the end,” Sonny explained to Caroline. “Be careful CeeCee.”

“It pretty Daddy,” Caroline said with a giggle. She waved the sparkler around making fleeting lines of light against the dark sky.

Sonny lit sparklers for the boys. He stayed crouched down next to Caroline keeping a watchful eye on her and the boys.

“All done,” she announced when the sparkler fizzled out.

“Want another one?” Sonny asked her. She shook her head no and ran off to chase the boys.

Sonny stood from his crouched position when you came to stand beside him. “Can’t believe she’s two,” Sonny marveled. He got a wistful look in his eyes as he looked down at you.

“Oh no way, Dominick. I know that look,” you stated.

“What’s one more? Hmmm?” He wrapped you in his arms. “It’s so much fun makin’ em,” he said teasingly. His lips met yours for a tender kiss.

“Your charming Sonny, but not that charming,” you quipped.

“Eh. Never hurts to ask.” he shrugged his shouders and grinned.

do nick and the reader ever get back to how they were were before the stripper incident?

It had been a shit day, a shit week, truth be told it had been a shit few months. The house was dark when you pulled into the driveway. The kids were staying at Cesaria’s house and Nick was working late. You sighed. At least there was a cold six pack waiting for you in the fridge. That thought got you out of the car and up the front steps.

“Welcome home mi amada.” Nick’s soft, low voice filled your ears. He slowly crossed the floor to you, smirking.

“Jesus, Mary and Joseph, you scared the hell out of me.” You brought a hand to your chest. “I thought you had to work late?”

“Well, I may have fibbed a little. I wanted to surprise you.” Nick pulled you to his chest and kissed your temple. “I knew it was a bad day, so I thought I’d make you dinner and then maybe we can watch a movie.”

“The surprise was a success.” You laughed and patted his chest. “Please tell me that is your grandmother’s Vaca Frita that I smell. I am starving. Didn’t have time for lunch.”

Nick slid his hand down your back, directing you to the kitchen. “It sure is. Go change and I’ll dish up our plates.”

“Still up for a movie?” Nick inquired as the two of you cleaned up after dinner. When you turned, he was fidgeting with a dish towel. His eyes turned up to yours.

As exhausted as you were you couldn’t say no? ”Yep. What are we watching?”

Nick waved his hand in the air. “It’s-it’s just some independent film. Uh, someone recommended it.” Nick seemed nervous, giving you a shy smile.

You arched an eyebrow. “Yeah. Okay, Nick.” Shaking your head you wondered what he was up to. You were hoping you could stay awake through the movie.

Nick grabbed your hand as you headed to the living room. “This way.” He lead you to the backyard. A sheet covered one outside. You noticed a projector set up on a table.

“What are you up to, Amaro?” You asked with one arched brow.

“You’ll see.” Nick grinned back at you. He sat beside you, putting an arm around your shoulders.

Your eyes widened and you gasped. It was a picture of your and Nick’s first date. The picture changed to other candids of you and Nick. When you and Nick moved in together, when you adopted Frankie, vacations, engagement, wedding, pregnancies, and the kids. All set to meaningful songs from your relationship.

Nick squeezed your shoulder when you wiped tears off your cheeks. “Nick. That was…” You brushed tears from your eyes and took a calming breath, “beautiful. How did you do this?”

“I had some help with the editing…”

“Owen.” The two of you said in unison then chuckled.

“That kid is something else,” you mused. “We did real good making those two.”

Nick nodded. “They got the best of both of us. Your smarts and my good looks.”

“That they did.” You dropped your gaze before looking into his eyes. “Thank you for all you did tonight and have been doing. This was better than any night out. I love you, Nicky.”

“My pleasure mi amor. And thank you for loving me not only through my best but my worst.” He took you and hand and gently pulled you over to his lap. “I love you so, so much, Y/N.”

The name game

//Fluff piece deciding the Stone twins names//

Peter moved the hair from your face and delivered a kiss to your temple. You were already awake but just couldn’t bear to drag yourself out of bed. When you opened your eyes, Peter sweet smile greeted you. So did rain, cold and gloom outside. “Peter,” you said in a raspy voice, “it’s Saturday. Why are you up so early? Even the kids aren’t up yet.”

“Been up since 5AM. Wanted to get my work out done for the day.” Peter rose from your side of the bed and stripped off his sweaty shirt.

“Of course you have,” you grumbled sleepily. Being pregnant with twins was kicking your butt. And you still had four months left. Not that you were one for the gym anyway.

“Have you thought of a middle name?” Peter asked over his shoulder as he entered the bathroom.

“Nope. Maybe if I go back to sleep, one will come to me.” You rolled over and closed your eyes.

Peter chuckled. “Okay, darling. We’ll discuss when you’re more awake. I’ll shower then make some breakfast.”

“Hmmm…”, you mumbled into the pillow.

“Mama,” Audra whispered. “I sweep wif you.”

“Yeah. C’mon baby girl .” You pulled the comforter back and she climbed in beside you, then snuggled into your chest.

When Peter came out of the bathroom he paused seeing you and Audra snuggled in bed and grinned. He was a blessed man. He moved around the bathroom quietly so as not to wake the two of you.

The aroma of bacon and sweet waffles woke you up. 7:30 o’clock. Audra was just waking up too. She was like you, not much of an early riser.

Peter was getting plates out of the cabinet when you walked in holding Audra. Her legs dangling on either side of your rounded belly She had her face buried in your neck. “My beautiful ladies. Good morning loves.”

“We’re not awake yet, Daddy,” you informed him. Stretching up you kissed Peter, then licked your lips. “Mmm…Maple syrup. Yummy.”

The tips of Peter’s ears reddened and he cleared his throat. "Can Daddy hold you, Audra?” She nodded and went to Peter’s arms. “Hungry Munchie? Daddy made you and Mama’s favorite-waffles!”

“I helped Daddy make breakfast,” Julian stated proudly. “I stirred. We made extra cause Daddy said you eat more when you have a baby in your belly.”

“Well, it smells very good.” You kissed his head as he sat at the table. ”You did a good job.”  Your hand rubbed your belly. “I am famished. Bring on the waffles.”

The four of you sat to eat, Audra on Peter’s lap, eating from his plate. "Maybe we can go to the children’s museum later. Then have lunch at Marco’s. ”

“Yeah. Pasta. I want that.” You took a bite of bacon. Crispy. Just the way you like it. “I’d like to stop at the bookstore too.”

“Emanuel.” Peter blurted out.

“Huh?” You said around a mouthful of waffle.

“For a middle name.” He gave Audra a bite of waffle dripping with syrup that ended up running her chin. Which she, of course, wiped off on her hand then Peter’s Tshirt. He grinned at her.

You nodded your head thoughtfully. “I like it. So. That’s it. We have names for both babies.”

“Really?” Peter smiled. “Really? We settled on names for the twins?”

“Liam Emanuel and Lauren Brielle it is.” You returned his smile, then mouthed ‘I love you’, before taking another waffle from the platter.

Heyy!! Can you do a fall x reader with mike where like they go out get coffee come back home and snuggle up together in front of the fireplace?? I love your account 😀

//All warm and fluffy. I loves it! And thank you! 😘//

“Looks like the rain has finally stopped.” Turning from the window, to where Mike was stoking the fire, “want to go grab some coffee?”

He gave you a skeptical look. “Really? You want to go out in this weather?” Mike straightened, looking out the window. He stretched reaching his arms over his head.

“I am so sick of being cooped up in this house all week, other than work. At this point, I don’t care if the sky was falling, I’d want to get out of here.” Crossing your arms, you arched an eyebrow at Mike.

Mike held his hands up in mock surrender. “Fine. I get it. Name the place.”

A few minutes later, you and Mike were out the door and on your quest for coffee. Despite the cold, wet weather, you were happy to get some fresh air. You hooked your arm inside Mike’s and smiled up at him. “Thank you for indulging me.”

Mike leaned down and kissed your head. “Thanks for getting me out. The leaves are so pretty. The air crisp.” Mike closed his eyes and inhaled. “I love this weather.”

“Hmmm… I agree. It’s the best season. Cool but not cold. The colors are so vibrant…oh we’re here.” You pulled Mike into the coffee shop.

The walk back was colder as the sun was setting in the sky. A shiver went up your spine when a bitter breeze blew through the thin sweater you decided to wear. “I’m kinda regretting this decision.”

Mike put his arm around your shoulder and drew you to his side. “Almost home, babydoll. Just a couple more blocks. Maybe the next transfer will take us somewhere warm.”

“Like Aruba? Or Maui?” You sipped your Macchiato thoughtfully, thinking back to when you were younger and your Dad was stationed in Atlanta. “Actually, no. I like living where the season’s change and the bugs can’t swoop in and carry you away.”

Mike laughed. “Good point.” The two of you ascended the stairs to your apartment. Mike unlocked the door and ushered you in. The fire was still going but you couldn’t shake the cold. “You go change into something comfy, I’ll put more wood on the fire.”

Mike turned as you entered the living room after changing. “Nice shirt.” He smirked as he looked you up and down. “And socks.”

“You said something comfy,” shrugging your shoulders you made your way to the couch. Mike’s sweatshirt hit just above your knee, while his socks hit just below your knee. The rain started pelting against the window.

“That I did. I admit. You look better in it than I do.” Mike sat beside you on the couch, placing his hand on your leg. “This is nice. We hardly get to just sit and enjoy one another.” He smoothed his thumb on the bare skin of your thigh.

The fire crackled and popped as the red and orange flames licked at the wood. Gazing over at Mike, he had a grin on his face. “Wanna share what that smile is about?” you asked, gently elbowing him.

“Hmmm? Oh, I-uh-I was thinking. About us. How much I love you. How happy I am. And hope you never come to your senses and realize you’re too good for me.” Mike tipped your chin and kissed you. “Mmm…I’m getting the macchiato next time.”

Giggling, you snuggled up closer to your boyfriend. “Just try getting rid of me.”

carisi-dreams:

anon asked: I’m knitting you a hat. With Sonny please

featuring nonna Carisi! comes sometime after this: Italy [asking you, pre-trip dinner, packing, walking, hiding, interlude, proposal, celebratory sex, market trip, vineyard, blush]

////

“I’m knitting you a hat!” nonna Carisi announced in a thick Italian accent.

The video quality was going in and out, but you could hear her clearly. She had insisted on wanting to try video chat so that she could talk to you both at the same time. Every since you had come back from Italian you had been keeping in contact with her, sending her e-mails, physical mail and reminding Sonny to call her every couple of weeks.

“Nonna, was that for me or Sonny?” you asked with a slight frown. The two of you had been talking about how cold New York was currently, but Sonny was usually the one she sent clothes to year ‘round.

“You, cara mia. It is too cold for a flower like you! Is Sonny taking care of you?” she asked, aiming a pointed look at Sonny to your right.

“I am! I promise, nonna. Breakfast in bed on the weekends, plenty of hot chocolate and I make her wear gloves every day,” Sonny defended. You leaned your head against his shoulder with a soft smile.

“It’s true, nonna. He takes very good care of me. We’ll go a vacation to some place warm in a couple of months when it gets really cold,” you assured her. She harrumphed and leaned back in her chair. The picture crackled and froze for a moment before syncing back up and distantly you heard the wind whistling around the bedroom window.

“Well good. But I’m still going to knit you a hat. Both of you,” she replied with a little sniff.

“Can’t wait to wear it,” you replied warmly. “But don’t worry about us. We worry about you all alone in that house.”

“Ah, I’m fine! Carisi women, we are very strong willed,” she replied proudly. Sonny snorted and you jabbed him in the ribs with your elbow. “And that little neighbor boy, Nico, he has been checking on me. Every time I turn around—bam!—there he is. I suspect my grandson put him up to it.”

She regarded Sonny suspiciously and you bit back your smile and turned your face slightly into Sonny’s flannel clad shoulder. The worn in cotton was soft against your face and it smelled just faintly of firewood. The smell reminded you that you two needed to get out of the city for a weekend and spend time at the cabin.

“I just want to make sure you’re taken care of,” Sonny replied with a raise of his hands. “Besides, I figured you wouldn’t mind having someone to boss around every once in awhile.” You glanced up at Sonny and his eyes twinkled with mirth. Shaking your head at him you pressed a quick kiss to his mouth before turning back to the laptop.

“Eh, I do not boss! I simply instruct clearly. It is better to be clear than not clear,” she replied with an unconcerned shrug. “Anyway, I must be going. Nico will be here tomorrow, no doubt, and I want to see what around the house I can have him do in order to be helpful. You take care of each other, hear?”

You and Sonny nodded as you smiled. “Absolutely. We promise. As long as you let Nico help you out, okay?” you replied. She waved you away, but smiled nonetheless.

“Sì, sì. We talk soon. ¡Vi amo!” she said with a little wave.

“¡Ti amo!” you and Sonny both replied with waves of your own before signing off. You shut the laptop and allowed Sonny to wrap his arm around your waist.

“We have a pretty great family, huh?” he asked, voice muffled against your head.

“We really do,” you replied with a smile as you stretched up to kiss him.

This filled my fluff craving!
