Between the wine, the food and the lively conversation you were satiated and warm despite the cold and snow outside. All the people you loved most were in one room. Sonya and Nick were dancing while Frank played from the old record player. Cesaria was opening another bottle of wine, smiling and happy.

She took the chair beside you and patted your leg. Sonya attempted to dip Nick, almost dropping him. You laughed and Cesaria leaned in close to you. “It’s good to see you smile again, mi querido.”

You flicked your eyes to her. Did she know what happened? Did Nick talk to her? “How-”

“How did I know?” She shrugged her shoulders. “A mother knows. When I saw the two of you together, you were out of sync.“

“We were. But things…we’re getting better.” You leaned over and kissed her cheek. “Thank you, Mamì.”

“Can I steal my wife for a dance?” Nick bowed.

“It would be my pleasure.” Nick took your hand, holding you close to his chest.

“Ready?”

Before you could respond he twirled you away from him then back. You crashed into his chest laughing.

The two songs that will turn ANYONE into a stripper are: Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard and Cherry Pie by Warrant. This is a fact. Do not fight me.

and you know what?

Both Rafael and Sonny play them for their S/O because they are giant teases and KNOW those songs make your clothes fall off

Been a busy week. You and Sonny have barely seen another. You logged in your computer to finish some stuff so you’d have the weekend to focus on him. “Hey doll”, how was your day he asked and kissed the top of your head. “Ehh” you replied, “You”. “Same. Dinner?” “ I really need to work, sorry. Just get a pizza or something.” He furrowed his brow but didn’t argue. A couple minutes later you heard the song start. “Damn it”, you mumbled and then giggled. Sonny strides in loose tie, sleeves rolled up. Pour some sugar on me played on his phone. He started moving, awkwardly but still hot as hell. You couldn’t help yourself, you jumped up and joined in grinding and rubbing on one another. Work can wait…
