Behind the Scenes of SVU Season 20 Mike Summers with Peter
Yesterday, I spent the morning on location during a Law and Order SVU filming with Peter Scanavino. Fun fact: he was born on a leap day, so he’s only 9 leap day years old! And he’s super cool!
“Peter. I want to talk to you. And please, let me finish before you say anything.” Peter furrowed his brow but nodded his acknowledgment as he sipped his coffee. You took a deep breath before beginning. “These last few months have been taxing. And I know that you deal with stress well under normal circumstances. But you have had two major losses in less than three months.”
He nodded his head, looking straight ahead. His eyes were tense and his jaw clenched. You knew he wasn’t going to like what you were about to say. It had built for a few weeks and you couldn’t let it get any worse.
“I’m worried about you Peter. You’re coming home later every night, drinking more than normal or healthy and you missed my last prenatal appointment. Your just, not you babe.” You waited for his reaction.
Peter stood and started pacing. His hand rubbed the back of his neck. “I seem to be failing everyone lately; Pam, you, the kids. Sam and his Dad, mirror images of the relationship I had with my father. I couldn’t help Sam or his family, or those kids. I’ve let you down” His voice cracked.
“Hey,” your voice calm as you stood and approached him, taking his hands, “that is not what I meant, Peter. I love you so much. You have failed no one. Please understand that. I just worry. You know you can talk to me anytime, about anything. But this runs deeper than what I can do for you. I think you need to see a counselor or psychiatrist.”
Peter grabbed you, leaning his weight into you and sobbed. Your heart broke in that instant. You walked him to the couch where he laid his head in your lap. One hand soothed his back, the fingers of your other hand brushed his temple. Peter’s arms wrapped around your middle. You held him for several minutes.
“You’ll get through this and I’m going to be with you every step of the way. I got you, babe.” You leaned over and kissed his cheek. That was a promise that you refused to break.

On the 13th we’ll watch the week’s episode and on the 27th we’ll either watch that week’s episode or have a mini marathon of SVU’s Halloween episodes! Let me know in the comments/tags/etc which you prefer for the 27th.
As before, we’ll be using Rabbit [this link [https://www.rabb.it/] ], which you need to download prior to the time of the watch party. There is no web cam element because Rabbit is an audio/visual sharing service with one host and a chat element for people to join in while we watch together. Absolutely no pressure to chat, so even if you just want to come to check it out, that is completely okay! I’ll send out the link to the chat room by the Friday prior (I think it’ll be the same link).

we’re using Rabbit to host the sleepover/hang out. you do not need Hulu or anything, but you do need to sign up for Rabbit and set it up prior to the time we’re all going to watch together.
it won’t be nighttime for all of us since I wanted to try to get the brits & parisians in there with us, but that’s okay!
other FAQs: do I have to show my face? no! it’s not a videochat, Rabbit is a screen sharing platform with a chat feature: so I share my screen playing the video and we can all chat together. I’ll be sharing video for us to watch SVU together.
how will this work? I (@carisi-dreams) will share the link to the chatroom with everyone who has RSVP’d and then you will use the link to login and watch together. I’ll wait 5 minutes to make sure everyone is in there before I hit play, so please be on time! [time zone converter] I will not enter the room until 30 minutes prior to the watch time, so if you enter in early…nothing will be happening because it won’t be up for me yet.
what if I can’t get in? wait a few minutes, and then if you’re still not in, try to request entry again. there seems to be a delay between when you send the request and when I get it, so please do not panic and immediately message me on tumblr. it creates a lot of confusion if a bunch of people do that, especially since that means if I’m on tumblr responding to messages (literally all I can tell you is to keep trying) then I’m not on Rabbit accepting invitations…give it a few moments!
what is Rabbit? it’s a video sharing & chatroom site that allows us to watch movies/tv together and talk about it all on the same platform

FICTOBER18 DAY 11 PROMPT | “But I will never forget.”
fandom: Law and Order: SVU pairing: Nick Amaro/Sonny Carisi/Reader warnings: really vague mention of shower sex
The three of you were laughing in bed and you felt like you might pull a muscle if you didn’t get a minute to catch your breath. Sonny’s arm was wrapped around your waist where you were laying on your stomach in between the two of them. Nick’s leg was casually crossed over your calf and were frantically trying to wipe tears of mirth on the pillowcase nearest your face. Nick was still gesturing up into the air over his head as he spoke.
“But I will never forget.” A pause and another chuckle of laughter from him. “I’ll never forget the look on Sonny’s face as he started slipping.”
“Stop! Stop!” you shrieked as you fisted your hand in the pillow and started howling with more laughter. The fear when you lost your footing on the slippery tub and then Sonny’s frantic grab for you was itched into your brain. Alongside it was Nick’s alarm and desperate reach for the two of you and a very narrowly avoided messy fate had his balance not been so good. Recalling it now was funny and where Sonny’s face was buried in the back of your shoulder you could feel him shaking with laughter, even as he reached a hand over you to shove Nick.
“I almost slipped a disc in my back,” Sonny mumbled. His admission sent you into more belly aching laughter and you leaned over to plant your face in Nick’s chest as you gasped for air. Sonny bit your shoulder lightly and pinched your side. “I was trying to save you!” he accused with another jab.
You turned slightly and tried to school your face into something more somber. “I know. And I’m so grateful for your—your sacrifice,” you barely got the last word out as more laughter overtook you. Sonny rolled his eyes and shook his head, ducking his face to the inside of his elbow as he started laughing again as well.
“I told you both that shower sex with three people was a terrible idea,” Nick pointed. He dropped one hand to the back of your head and started massaging and you leaned into the touch. “I’m pretty sure I twisted my ankle trying to grab Sonny, who was trying to grab you, before one of you got their head bashed in.”
“Our hero,” Sonny quipped dryly in between chuckles. You felt Nick reach over and poke Sonny with his foot and the two of them started a scuffle over you. They were both laughing and red faced and you lay back in the bed, shaking your head at their antics.
