Can I make a request from the “Domestic/Family Prompt List” with Nick or Peter the numbers 92. “I didn’t do it! He/she did” 93. “Don’t blame your brother/sister”. Please?

“Julian Michael!” Peter’s raised voice made you rush to the source.

“What’s wrong? Is he okay?” you questioned Peter as you pushed past him into the bathroom.

“It wasn’t me. It was Audra,” Julian accused as both of them sat in the middle of the bathroom floor covered in shaving cream.

“Oh my,” you commented trying to hold back a laugh. Shaving cream was literally everywhere. In their hair, faces, the walls, the floor, and the mirror. You covered your mouth and turned so the kids didn’t see the smile on your face and snickered.

“Don’t blame your sister, Julian. You’re the only one that can reach the sink,” Peter said with his hands on his hips and a stern look on his face. “Just look at this mess.”

“But-but I just wanted to be like you, Daddy. I wanted to shave.” Julian hung his head. “I’m sorry Daddy.” His lip pouted and he looked up at the two of you with the same eyes as Peter.

Audra continued to play in the shaving cream, totally unconcerned with Peter’s scolding. She giggled as she spread the shaving cream through her hair.

You burst out laughing. “I’m sorry. It’s just-just…” your laughter caused Audra and Julian to laugh. Tears were rolling down your cheeks.

“Real helpful, Y/N,” Peter chastised you and rolled his eyes.

“Oh lighten up Peter,” you retorted while holding on to your belly. “It could be a lot worse. Remember the Sharpie incident?” When Julian was two he found a Sharpie that Peter had left on his desk. He proceeded to draw all over Peter’s computer, case file, and desk. He was just getting ready to draw on his face when you intercepted.

“I suppose you’re right,” he returned and sighed.

“Well of course I am,” you concurred. You knelt down scooping up some of the shave cream and gave Peter a sly smile.

“You wouldn’t dare!” Peter cautioned when he saw the look in your eyes.

“Oh I would and I will,” you asserted.

Peter stopped you short of getting the shaving cream in his hair. He grabbed you around the waist making you squeal. “Okay, Julian get her!”

“Boys against girls!” Julian exclaimed.

Before you knew it all four of you were on the floor laughing and covered in shaving cream. Peter wiped shaving cream of your cheek. “I love you.”

You winked. “Love you too babe.”

You paused in the shadows for a moment and watched as Cameron exhaled smoke into the night air. Taking the cigarette from behind your ear, nicked from Chibs moments earlier, you stepped into the patch of faded yellow light on the sidewalk behind the building. A nearby street lamp hummed in the background and it flickered like it was low on energy. You knew the feeling.

You brought the cigarette up to your lips before speaking. “Get a light?” you asked. Your voice came out muffled from behind the cigarette, but it still made Cameron startle and whirl to face you. You lifted a corner of your mouth in the imitation of a smile and they relaxed a little.

“Scared the shit out me,” Cameron groused with a hand to their chest still. You attempted a sheepish smile as you stepped a little closer.

Whoa.

“Those look so good, babe,” you kissed Nick in greeting. Work had been a nightmare but knowing you, Nick, the kids, and the dog were leaving for a week vacation helped you get through your shift. Tomorrow you’d be in a hammock at the lake.

“Elise wanted to make cookies for the trip,” Nick informed you. He sprinkled the cookies with sea salt and some with chopped walnuts.

“Where is she now?”, you inquired.

“She got bored after the first batch was done. She’s watching cartoons in our bed,” Nick answered and chuckled.

Nick in the kitchen was…hot. You watched as he moved around the room. He was a sight. His hips swayed slightly as danced to the music playing from his phone.

“Hey Earth to Y/N,” Nick spoke your name and snapped his fingers. “I said do you want a bite?”

“Hmmm..yeah, yes. Please. Sorry I kinda spaced. It’s just seeing you in the kitchen…” You cleared your throat then took a bite of cookie. “I’m gonna go finish packing,” you said around a mouthful of cookie.

Nick gave you knowing smile. “You do that. Oh, Y/N. Looks like I’m going to have some leftover melted chocolate. Let me know if you can think of a use for it.” He dipped his finger in the chocolate then licked it off. “Hate to see it go to waste.”

Ethan and Nicholas both marveled at the pumpkin castle as Ethan called it. “I wanna climb that so bad.” Nicolas gasped.

“Don’t let him outta your sight,” Sonny said with a chuckle. Sonny had insisted all seven of you go to the pumpkin patch, in costume no less.

It was hard to take him serious dressed a pirate. Eyepatch, fake parrot, the whole nine yards. You dressed a Wonder Woman, the boys were Ninja Turtles and Caroline was a bunny. You balked at first, but after seeing him and the kids so happy, you were glad to be there.

After going on a hayride, picking apples, and everyone getting their own pumpkin for carving later, it was time to head home. The younger kiddos were getting cranky and everyone needed a nap before Liv’s costume party later that evening.

“You make an adorable pirate,” you smirked at Sonny as you perched on the side of the bed and unzipped your boots.

“Adorable? Adorable? I am Captain Carisi. The most dreaded pirate of the seven seas,” Sonny boasted and puffed out his chest.

“You are too much,” you said with a giggle. Sonny was a kid at heart and you loved it,

“I love hearing you giggle, One of my favorite sounds,” Sonny said as he sauntered over to you. He gently pushed you back on the bed and crawled up your body. “Time to claim my booty.”

“Leave it your kid to pick the biggest pumpkin,” Peter said as the two of you watched Julian struggle to pick up a pumpkin double his size. Audra rested on his shoulder, totally content. She looked so small in Peter’s arms.

“He’s ambitious,” you countered. “I know someone else like that.”

“Between us he had pretty good examples of the word,” Peter confirmed. He leaned over and kissed your temple.
