Sigh.

“See how Daddy is holding it? All the way at the end,” Sonny explained to Caroline. “Be careful CeeCee.”
“It pretty Daddy,” Caroline said with a giggle. She waved the sparkler around making fleeting lines of light against the dark sky.
Sonny lit sparklers for the boys. He stayed crouched down next to Caroline keeping a watchful eye on her and the boys.
“All done,” she announced when the sparkler fizzled out.
“Want another one?” Sonny asked her. She shook her head no and ran off to chase the boys.
Sonny stood from his crouched position when you came to stand beside him. “Can’t believe she’s two,” Sonny marveled. He got a wistful look in his eyes as he looked down at you.
“Oh no way, Dominick. I know that look,” you stated.
“What’s one more? Hmmm?” He wrapped you in his arms. “It’s so much fun makin’ em,” he said teasingly. His lips met yours for a tender kiss.
“Your charming Sonny, but not that charming,” you quipped.
“Eh. Never hurts to ask.” he shrugged his shouders and grinned.
[From: Peter 5:05PM] Sorry to ask but can you pick up dinner?
[To: Peter 5:11PM] Not a problem. What sounds good? I’ll swing by the office so we can eat together.
[From: Peter 5:14PM] Your choice. Dinner together sounds great. I’ve missed you.
[To: Peter 5:17PM] I’ve missed you too. See you in a bit.
Now in your second trimester, your appetite had come back full force, and then some. The spicier the food, the better. Indian specifically. So when Peter said it was your choice, you knew exactly from which restaurant you would be ordering.
The floor was mostly empty when you arrived an hour later. When you reached Peter’s office he was sitting at his desk. He looked up when you walked into the room. His face relaxed as soon as he saw you. “Bad day?” you asked. You sat the plastic bag on his desk.
“Long day.” He stood and rounded his desk to embrace you in a hug. “Food smells good.”
“Well let’s dig in,” you said. Peter released you so you could unpack the styrofoam containers. “I’m starving.”
“Good to see your appetite back.” He smirked as he watched you tuck into your meal.
“Mmm…not as happy as I am,” you agreed around a mouthful of food.
The two of you chatted for a while before you excused yourself to the restroom. When you came back Peter was coughing and chugging water. “You could have warned me! That was unexpected. What the hell is in that?”
“What- oh no Peter,” you said with a giggle. “I asked for extra spices. I didn’t think you-I’m sorry.”
Peter took another drink of water. “I do not know how you eat that. Wow.”
“Blame your son,” you said and placed a hand on your belly.
Peter leaned down and placed a hand on each side of your belly. “Listen little man. Maybe next time Mama can have a craving for ice cream.”
It was a day most little girls dreamed of, the day they shopped for their wedding dress. Yet here you were sitting in the fitting room in tears, and not happy ones. You had narrowed it down to two dresses. One was off-white, strapless, form-fitting and lace. The other was as white, off the shoulder, satin ball gown.
There was a gentle knock on the door. “Okay if I come in?” Cesaria asked softly through the door.
“Uh-yeah. Just-just a minute.” You pulled a tissue from the box on the table beside you and wiped your eyes. “Come in,” you called softly.
“So. Have you decided-. Mija, what’s wrong?” She sat beside you and placed her hand over yours.
“It’s silly,” you responded and shook your head as you sniffled. “Really. I’m fine. It’s nothing.” Fresh tears were threatening to spill down your cheeks.
Cesaria dabbed your eyes with a tissue. “You don’t get upset over nothing.”
You took a deep breath. “You know you are like a mother to me. It’s just.-”
“It’s okay. You can tell me.”
“I always imagined I’d be choosing a wedding dress with my Mom,” you sniffed. At 14 you lost your Mom when a drunk driver hit her head on. With your Dad in prison, it left you and your 12-year-old brother in the foster system.
“Oh, my sweet girl.” She gathered you in her arms and soothed your hair. “I understand.”
She released you and composed yourself. “I feel like I’m being ungrateful. You’ve been like a Mom to me ever since Nick and I started dating.”
“Y/N, you are the last person I would call ungrateful. I love you like my own and there is nowhere else I want to be,” she reassured you.
You smiled. “I love you too.” After taking a cleansing breath you stood and went to stand in front of the dresses. “So which dress should I get?”
“Whichever dress you choose you will be beautiful,” she declared.
“Y/N. Mom. Are you in there?” Nick called from outside the room. “I’m done with my tux fitting.”
“Don’t come in, Nicky!” Cesaria answered. “I’ll get him out of here. We’ll meet you outside.” She turned back to you before leaving. “Want to knock his socks off? Go with the lace gown.” She gave you a wink.
“Hey. What happened back there? Did she find the one?” Nick asked Cesaria.
“Without a doubt,” she confirmed and patted Nick’s cheek.
ON GODDDDDD IT’S SO SEXY. AND HE WAS OCK HARD. LIKE……FUCKING SOLID BRUH. AND I DID THAT! ME! YA GIRL! WHEW!
Mood.
Let’s hope! I love Philip’s acting! And love Peter Stone character
We knew it was coming!
I’m a little nervous about it. I believe he is innocent and they find the person that did assault her. I sincerely hope they don’t write him out of the show that way. Hopefully this opens his eyes to his recent ‘activities’.
