How about shopping with mike? Im imagining him trying to buy like protien powder and the reader being like no i need sugar

“What’s that?” Mike asked as he placed protein powder, vitamins, and other supplements in the shopping cart. He picked Cora up and put her on his shoulders. Beckett was asleep in his carrier in the cart and Isaac was holding Mike’s hand.

“Groceries.” you replied flatly. You knew Mike hated when you bought junk food. But damn it sometimes you needed a little sugar. For the most part you ate healthy, at least you tried.

He raised an eyebrow. “Hmmm….looks like junk to me.”

“Don’t start, Mike,” you warned. This is one reason you hated bringing Mike to the store with you. Usually you came when Isaac was in pre-K and Mike was at work so it was just you, Cora and Beckett. “Sometimes I need a little something to get me through the day.”

“I saw a study that showed the effects of sugar on the brain. On the PET scan, the brain reacted to sugar the same that an addict reacts to drugs,” Mike explained.

“Fascinating,” you replied dryly. “If you haven’t noticed there are also organic fruits and veges, organic milk, whole grain cereals and nuts.”

“I guess that cancels out the fact that there are also Double Stuff Oreos, double fudge ice cream, microwave popcorn and salt and vinegar chips,” he said in a teasing tone.

“Yeah. It’s called balance,” you said with a smirk.

Later that night you shuffled to the kitchen to get a glass of water after getting Beckett back to sleep. The kitchen light was on, you assumed your forgot to turn off the light. You found Mike standing at the counter back to you. “Whatcha doin’?” you asked sleepily.

Mike tensed. “Nuffin’”, he replied, his mouth full.

“Nuffin’, huh. Turn around.”

Mike slowly turned. In one hand he had a large glass of milk. He finished chewing and gave you an innocent smile. “Nothing to see here. Move along.” He tried to shoo you out of the kitchen.

You walked up to him and reached behind him. “Nothing indeed,” you said and held up the package of Oreos that already had one row missing. You arched your brow. “Give me that milk,” you requested and proceeded to dunk an Oreo. “What do you have to say for yourself, Michael?”

He shrugged. “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em,” he responded and popped another cookie in his mouth.

anon requested: I voted for Hoog for State Senate, 4:15 EST, Nick x Reader first time after Elijah’s birth. I am sure the 6weeks recovery period, assuming it was not a c-section delivery, was torture for both.

thank you for voting! this is mish mash of suggestive + sweet 🙂 not really nsfw, hope that’s alright!

You were rubbing another layer of moisturizer into your skin when Nick padded into the bathroom. You smiled at his reflection in the mirror as you reached for lip balm. The expression on his face was tired, but satisfied, and judging by the silence in the apartment you guessed that he had successfully put Elijah down for sleep.

“He asleep?” you asked in confirmation. Nick nodded and let his head drop to your shoulder.

“Mmhmm,” he mumbled against your skin. “Had to rock him and read a book. He was was full of energy for some reason.”

“He gets it from his papa,” you teased. You placed the container in your hand back in the organizer and turned in his grip. You brought both hands to his back and began rubbing slowly in opposite directions. He was shirtless, citing that Elijah needed as much skin to skin contact as possible, and you certainly had no complaints about him being shirtless more times than not when he was home.

anon requested: – It’s Sunday. Which means relaxing all the day. Person B pulls up some old classical games. They end up doing some UNO and Monopoly. Person B is more competitive than Person A thought and they end up having an intense duel of what was supposed to be a casual game.  I know this is Person A/B, but could you do the poly!verse? Thanks!

Sonny narrowed his eyes above his cards before breaking out into a wide smirk. He slapped down a ‘draw four’ card on the table in the center of the pile of cards.

“Uno,” he crowed. “Pick four! Booyah!”

You and Nick exchanged a look, but obediently began to slowly draw four cards. “You know, there’s no prize if you win,” you pointed out to Sonny.

Beside you Nick snorted and you studiously avoided looking at him. This friendly game of UNO had became ultra competitive as, unbeknownst to you and Nick, Sonny began playing with a fervor he usually applied to finding suspects. He’d been gasping and mumbling and crowing triumphantly for the last fifteen minutes of the game and you had half a mind to suddenly ‘remember’ plans you had with your friends in order to escape. If this continued on, there was a very high probability that you would strangle him during Monopoly. That was not a game known for bringing out the best in people.

“Of course there’s a prize!” Sonny replied enthusiastically. He gestured impatiently at you to play a card. “The immense satisfaction that I whooped you both in UNO.”

You rolled your eyes and dropped a card on the table. At this rate, it was looking like Sonny would win. Nick rubbed a finger along his bottom lip as he looked down at his cards. His eyes flickered between you and Sonny and you prayed that he had something that Sonny was not going to be able to match. He tossed a card down carelessly with a smirk.

“Draw two,” he announced with a wide smile. You fist pumped at Sonny’s disgruntled expression and decided against trying to sneak away. At this point, you were determined to take him down.

Sonny x Reader

Part One

When you finally arrive at your hotel and are escorted up to your room, you fall happily back into the bed. The comfort of the pillows and blankets in contrast to the plane seats is much welcomed. The room is bright, sun shining in through the balcony and onto the bold yellows and the variations of reds, oranges, and blues. With a content sigh, you slide out of the bed and make your way to the bathroom, stripping out of your clothing as you do so. You run the bath water, warm and sudsy, this is relaxing. A warm bubble bath in Italy before a dinner date with an attractive Italian-American man who has been nothing but a sweetheart to you since you’ve run into each other at the airport.

You slide into the tub, smiling as you body submerges into the water. Your tense muscles start to relax and you close your eyes, resting your head against the back of the tub. You have a feeling that your date tonight is going to go well.

After your fingers and toes are pruned, you climb out of the tub, wrapping yourself up in the hotel robe and walking back into your room. You pull your clothes out of your bag, finding an appropriate outfit to meet up with Sonny: a casual, pale-yellow dress with tan sandals. After dressing in the clothes you find yourself walking out to the balcony and looking out at the street below. People pass by on the street below, the atmosphere unlike that of your neighborhood back home.
