“Are you guys alright?” Olivia said as she walked into you and Mike’s apartment. You were sitting on the couch just wrapped in the blanket from the bedroom.
“We’re fine. No one was injured here. We just had a few bullets come through the window from the shooting.” Mike explained as he took Olivia towards the bedroom with one of the guys from CSU followed the two while Fin sat on the couch to try to calm you down.
“You two didn’t see anything?” Olivia asked as she sat a few bullets on the floor, a few holes in the wall along with the broken window.
“I woke up to hear shouting and arguing. Then I hear a shot or two before three of them came in through the window.” Olivia looked and noticed a bullet in the headboard of the head. As the SVU Lieutenant went to check it out, Mike rushed over and moved the blanket around.
“Mike, we’re going to need to move that blanket. To see if any other bullets hit the bed. Now, move.” Mike went to protest before CSU pulled the blanket down the bed. Mike turned away as two pairs of handcuffs were attached to post in the headboard. Olivia stared at them for a moment before her attention went to bullet.
“Lieu-“
“I don’t want to hear it, Dodds. I’m just here for the shooting…” Olivia said before she walked out of the bedroom. Mike nodded as he sighed as he went to sit with you in the couch. Olivia and Fin were off in the kitchen talking before Fin shot Mike a smirk and a wink. He shook his head as he pulled you close and held you against him.
“I’ll call my dad and he’ll most likely let us stay with him until we get the window fixed. Alright?” Mike said softly. You nodded as you placed a kiss on his cheek.
“That’s fine. You sure he won’t mind?”
“I’m sure, love. I’ll call him right now.” Mike placed a kiss to your cheek before standing and grabbing his phone to call his father.
Every time I see you, my heart starts beating faster, no matter how long we’ve been together. You’re just so damn beautiful and I don’t have the words to express that, but I need you to know that I don’t think I’ll ever find someone who completes me as much as you do. And it certainly doesn’t hurt that you’re the hottest, most attractive person I’ve ever laid my eyes on. But my point is that you’re perfect in every way and I can’t wait to spend my life with you. – Nick
