Showering with Mike.
Sometimes I wonder if my neighbors hear the Law & Order theme for the 45th time in a day and ever get concerned about me?

You and Sonny were intertwined in your driveway and you kept pretending like you didn’t have to leave shortly to move into your dorm. Sonny had offered to go with you, but you knew that it would be worse to say goodbye there. He was already planning to visit in several weeks, but right now the idea of stepping out of his embrace seemed insurmountable.
“If you had asked me to stay, I would’ve,” you mumbled into his shoulder. He shushed you and kept running his hands through your hair slowly. His shirt was damp from your tears and you steadfastly ignored his sniffles because you knew it would make it impossible for you to leave.
“I know. That’s why I’d never ask,” Sonny said quietly as he pressed another kiss to the top of your head. “You’re going to do so well, doll. I’m already proud of you.” You squeezed him harder and dug your feet into the ground, knowing he was preparing to break the embrace.
“I don’t know if I can do this without you,” you said tearfully and Sonny pulled back a little to thumb some more tears off of your cheek. He looked down at you steadily and the way the light was hitting his face made him look angelic. The wind ruffled his hair and you were struck by how handsome and steadfast he was.
“You can. You will. I’ll visit whenever you want,” Sonny said roughly as he loosened his embrace. You made a noise and tried to hold on tighter, but he gently unwound your hands and pushed you in the direction of your car. “Don’t want you to get there too late. C’mon, you’ve got to go.”
You shook your head, but allowed yourself to be pushed to the door. He opened the car door for you and you climbed into the car, looking up at him tearfully. He wipes his face against his shoulder and closed the door for you. Sonny leaned in through the open car window and kissed you desperately.
“Love you. Knock ‘em dead,” he murmured. “Don’t fall in love with any hot doctors.” You laughed wetly.
“Are you planning to become a doctor? Otherwise it’s not very likely,” you said with a small smile. “I love you.”
He kissed you one more time and pushed away from the car, stepping back so that you could pull out. You watched him in the mirror as long as you could see him before turning out of the neighborhood and heading to the university.
adjusted slightly, because as I’ve mentioned nick is loathe to curse in front of women. 🙂 @paradise-svu

You and Veronica had been in a corner of the parlor laughing for nearly twenty minutes now. You had originally swung by to meet up with Nick on the way out to your date, but when he wasn’t ready Veronica had beckoned you to come sit and pass the time with her. You had started by asking how things with Razor were going and she was uncharacteristically closed mouth, but the look in her eye said they were going well.
Moving along you had complimented her ability to get him to do almost anything for her. The two of you had been exchanging stories over giggles and your attempts to muffle your laughter were mostly moot. Nick kept looking over, no doubt nervous about what she was telling you, and you smiled widely at him. He finally stalked over and Veronica nudged you with her arm and you pressed back into her and tried to temper your smile up at Nick.
“What the f—what is it that’s so funny?” he asked in an exasperated tone and the two of you dissolved into giggle once more. He propped his hands on his hips and fixed you with an unamused look.
“Girl code,” you choked out as you forced herself to try for a straight face. “Can’t tell ya,” you teased. Nick pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes at the two of you. Veronica nudged you again and you stumbled to your feet, slinking up to Nick.
“I’m ready to go,” you breathed up at him from beneath your lashes. “Didn’t come here to watch you talk.” Nick shifted and reached for your hip automatically.
“I know, amor. I’m sorry. We’re almost done,” he said apologetically as you pouted.
“Thought you were going to take me on a date tonight,” you whined quietly as you brought up a hand to play with your collar. You heard Veronica muffle laughter behind you. “I got all dressed up and everything.” Nick’s eyes dropped automatically to the dress you had thrown on.
It had caught the eye of nearly every other man in the building, save Sonny and Razo,r and you knew he was eager to get his hands on you. You used that to your advantage and pressed up against him.
“A couple more minutes. Promise,” Nick said thickly and you saw him swallow hard as you brought up a hand to his chest.
“Know what I’m thinking about?” you asked innocently. He shook his head no and you shifted just a tiny bit closer to him, dropping your voice so that it was barely audible.
“I’m thinking about…how much I wish you’d fuck me in your cut,” you fingered the edge of the leather of his vest. “And I’m also thinking about how easy it would be, because I’m not wearing anything under this dress…” you trailed off with an innocent smile and blinked prettily as you took a step back. “Guess I’ll just be sitting here…lonely…waiting for you…” Nick reached out and grabbed your hand before you could sit back down.
“We’re leaving. Now. Sonny can handle the rest of this on his own,” Nick said roughly and you feigned surprise.
“Are you sure? Would hate to tear you away,” you replied. Nick gave you an unimpressed look and looked over your shoulder at Veronica.
“You’re a bad influence,” he called and you turned in time to see her give him a dainty wave. Nick turned back to you and started towing you towards the door and you turned back to Veronica to exchange winks.
“You’re going to be in trouble when I get you home,” Nick said into your ear and you suppressed a happy shiver and just smiled up at him.
//My friend, I have been waiting for someone to ask. Just a reminder of how they met HERE. //
The last rays of the sun were filtering through the intricate framework of the concert venue. The Grant Park Orchastra was set to perform Broadway hits. You and Mike were lounging on a blanket on the plush lawn.
“This is nice.” You were leaning against Mike “Thank you for making it happen.” The picnic Mike packed had been delicious.
One of Mike’s hand rested on your barely protrudung belly, the other was entwined in your hand. “You are more than welcome love. Life is so crazy, we really need to slow down. Make more time for one another.”
“Are you okay, Mike? You seem….off?” You turned in his arms to be able to see his face.
The lines around his eyes were tight, “I’ve been thinking a lot about us, all three of us actually. “Uhhh…” He ran his hands through his hair. He took your hand and assissted you to stand.
You cocked your head, “You’re worrying me. What are-” When he went to one knee you gasped, your other hand covering your mouth.
“The first night I met you I knew that was it for me Y/N. You are my today and all of my tomorrows. I can’t wait to see what advantures and memories we make together. Your heart was made for me, and my heart beats only for you. And now you are giving me the most precious gift, a child. My heart couldn’t be any fuller. Will you marry me?”
All you could do was nod enthusiastically, happy tears spilled down your face. Finally you eeked out yes and an Inlove you. Applause and hoots broke out in the crowd that had gathered.
Mike placed the ring on your finger and stood. His eyes wet with tears. Tipping your chin up, he kissed you, making your toes curl.
Before you knew it you were wrapped in his arms, feet dangling while he spun you around.
When he placed you on your feet he shouted, “She said yes!“ He punched a fist in the air.

“What took you so long?” Sonny groused as the phone connected. You squeezed it between your ear and shoulder so that you could close and lock the door behind you and not drop your food.
“Someone’s in a grumpy mood,” you teased as you set your heavy bag of books down by the door with a quiet grunt. “I told you I was going to pick up food and come home first. Hate trying to talk on the phone and navigate with a lot of stuff in my hands.” Sonny grumbled something under his breath and you smiled to yourself as you took your food over to the coffee table and sat down on the floor in front of it.
“What’d you get?” he asked gruffly and you smiled wider as you opened the squeaky styrofoam. The spicy and garlicky scent of your food wafted up from the little compartments and you grabbed haphazardly for a napkin from the discarded bag before you took a big bite.
“Chicken tacos,” you mumbled through your food.
“Must have had to catch the chickens,” Sonny complained and you heard a door close behind him and then the squeaky sound of his bed.
He must be at home. You two had many fond memories of trying to have sex in that bed and not wake up half the house with all of the squeaking. More often than not you’d ended up in the chair in his room or, on one very memorable occasion, his floor. You laughed into the phone after you finished chewing, pausing in between bites.
“What’s gotten into you, sunshine? It sounds like a very cloudy day back at home,” you teased him again. “You okay?” you asked more seriously. Sonny sighed and you heard some fabric rustling on his end.
“‘m fine. Just miss you today. More than usual,” he admitted gruffly. You smiled and set your taco down, eating could wait.
“Yeah? I miss you too, Sonny. Always. Can’t wait to be home for the summer,” you told him softly.
“You sure you’re not going to miss being surrounded by future doctors? Not going to be bored?” Sonny asked and although he said it roughly you could hear the undercurrent of fear.
“Not hardly. We’ve got a lot of sex to make up for. About three solid months, to be honest,” you said with a suggestive curl of your tone. “And no future doctor has anything I want unless you’re going to tell me you’re pursuing pre-med.” Sonny laughed finally and you smiled.
“I’m outlaw, doll, through and through,” he said proudly and you rolled your eyes and picked your taco back up.
“Makes two of us. Now tell me about your day…”
okay I said no angst today, but ooops. just this lil thing and then back to fluff & smut! takes place several weeks after this

You were sitting up in bed reading a book when you heard the front door open and then slam shut. You frowned at how loud it was and paused in your reading as you strained to hear more. Sonny was always considerate when he came home and he was never one to slam doors anyway, not even when he was upset. You heard keys hit the floor and muffled cursing before deciding to get up and investigate. You glanced at the drawer where you kept your gun, but left it where it was figuring that no intruder would use keys or be as loud. When you got to the hall you saw Sonny by the door struggling to take his shoes off and you frowned slightly and called his name. When he looked up he swayed, balance thrown off and you had to rush forward to catch him before he stumbled and hit the floor.
“Sorry, doll,” Sonny apologized and the heavy slurring gave him away as much as the smell of alcohol.
You wrinkled up your nose, but leaned him against the door gently and bent down to help him out of his boots. They were scuffed and worn and you smiled faintly at the memory of when they had been brand new. A lot had changed. You got to your feet and helped him over to the couch where he sat down heavily with a groan.
“What’s going on, Sonny? It’s nearly one in the morning and you smell like a distillery,” you commented with the same small frown on your face.

Sonny comes home early and catches you pleasuring yourself. Even though he explicitly told you not to. “Oh ho ho. Whatcha doin doll? Don’t you remember what I told you?”
