His voice was muffled through the bandana that was covering his nose and mouth. Kevin wouldn’t be leaving this warehouse alive so it was more for the smell than any fears of being recognized. Kevin was bouncing in and out of consciousness as the blood loss caught up to him and Nick eyed him warily.

A scream came from the back of the parlor and it just barely cut through the din in the front room. It was a Saturday night and the bar was packed with people just socializing and having a drink, as well as patrons waiting for their massages. Razor and Nick both paused in their conversations and tilted their heads to try to hear better, Razor already pushing to his feet.

A second strangled yelp had him pushing past people and racing to the back. He would recognize Veronica’s voice anywhere and he didn’t even pause to open the door to her massage room before he kicked it in. He had taken barely two steps into the room before he saw her customer with his grip around her neck holding her up against the wall. Razor had just gotten off one punch to the man’s face, effectively dislodging his hands from around Veronica’s neck, when Nick skidded into the room behind him. Razor paid him no mind, aiming another punch at the man’s face as he threw up hands to defend himself.
