//Thanks, boo! Loves ya!//

“So. That’s it. We’re done? Do you love me? Did you ever love me?” Peter nodded his head. “Is there someone else? And don’t you lie to me.” Your stare never strayed from his face.

“I’m sorry, Y/N. I did, just not anymore.” He reached for your hand, which you yanked back. He sighed.

“You know what? I don’t care.” As you stood, Peter followed suit. He grasped your shoulders. “Just tell me the truth. I deserve at least that much.” You pleaded.

He dropped his hands to his sides. “Yes. There is someone else.”

The slap across Peter’s face was quick and hard. “Go to hell Peter. I hope she’s worth it.” You stalked out of the restaurant without looking back.

As you walked away you heard Peter say, “she is.”

“Remember it has to be believeable. He has to believe that our relationship is over. So no matter what I say, know that it’s all part of the ruse.” Peter cupped your face in his hand.

“I understand, Peter. Now, can we just enjoy tonight. Who knows when we’ll be able to…” A single tear rolled down your cheek.

“Hey. They’re gonna catch him. Trust that.” He picked you up and you wrapped your legs around his waist. “I love you, Y/N.” He tenderly kissed your lips as he carried you to the bedroom.

That was almost three months ago. The last night you made love to Peter. The last night you were in his arms. You shook your head and blew a puff of air out between pursed lips. Even if it was a fake break up, it felt way too damn real.

It had been raining for two days straight and didn’t show any signs of quitting. You shuffled away from the window of your apartment. God you missed him so damn much. Your cell phone chimed with an incoming text. Only a few people had your new number.

‘you need to get out of the house. get ready. ill be at your house in 10 minutes. won’t take no for an answer’ You sighed when you read Monica’s text. You really weren’t in the mood but you had been blowing her off for weeks.

You tapped back your reapose. ‘fine. where are we going?’

Thirty minutes later, you were having dinner and drinks with Monica You had to admit, it was nice to get out and have a girls night. “Thank you for dragging me out. Sorry for being such a kill-joy lately.”

“Girl, I got you, okay? Now let’s order some food. I’m starving. I thinking fried pickles, cheese sticks, chicken tenders. Ohhh, loaded nachos.” Monica was practically salivating.

“You’re pregnant! Oh my God! No drink, crazy appetite. When were you going to tell me? C’mere.” You hugged her.

“I’m 10 weeks. Me and Connor were waiting until after the third month to tell everyone.” She was practically glowing.

“I am so happy for you both. Now tell me. Do you think you’re having a boy or a girl? Names…”

You were smiling as you unlocked your apartment door. Monica had already confirmed you would be the godmother. After locking the door behind you, you slipped off you shoes in the middle of the floor and placed your purse on the coffee table.

“Never could put things where they belong.” Peter’s familiar voice filled your brain.

Your breath caught. He was here. In your apartment. You turned slowly, afraid he might disappear if you moved too fast. “You’re-you’re really here.” You flung yourself into his arms. “Oh. I have- Peter-I love you…” The words came out between sobs.

His arms wrapped aroound you tightly. “Oh my darling. I love you. You have no idea how my arms have ached to hold you again.” He buried his face in your hair. “I will never leave you again. I promise.”
