You awoke under Sonny’s arm where he was draped along your back. You smiled to yourself and slowly turned so that you could face him. Sonny’s grip on you tightened as you turned and even though you hadn’t been trying to wake him up he was going out of sleep. His lashes fluttered open as he pulled you even closer into his body.

“Mmm,” he made a rough pleased sound in the back of his throat and tangled his legs with yours under the sheets. “Love this feeling.”

“What feeling?” you whispered as his eyes closed again and a content expression washed over his face. The sheets rustled under Sonny’s cheek as he inched his face closer to yours, only stopping when he bumped into your nose.

“This one,” he whispered back before he kissed you. “You and me. Here. In bed.” You kissed him again and smiled into it as he rolled you under him and began kissing down your neck.

“It’s up there,” you agreed quietly in a teasing tone. Sonny’s fingers ghosted along your side in a tickle and you squirmed and giggled. “Going to be hell covering all of these hickeys,” you scolded as you felt him suck another one into the tender side of your neck. “Can you start a little lower?”

“Want everyone to know that you’re mine,” he rumbled against your skin before licking it apologetically and kissing back to your mouth.

“Think the tattoos kinda give that fact away,” you reminded him with a small smirk. He nipped at your bottom lip as his hands roved around your waist and low back.

“Maybe. But after…” Sonny trailed off and a stormy expression crossed his face for a moment. You interrupted his train of thought with another kiss as you wound your leg around his.

“I’m yours,” you murmured as you looked up at him. “Let me be yours.”
