The delicious aroma of your freshly baked blueberry muffins and the coffee that Sonny just finished brewing fills every corner of your shared apartment. The two of you sit across from each other at the small breakfast table and enjoy your muffins and coffees to the soothing sounds of Sinatra playing in the background. You love peaceful moments like these, just you and him enjoying each others company. You don’t always have the time to do this so you always enjoy it when you do. Between you and Sonny, your schedules are usually pretty busy – him more than you – so you try to make mornings like this happen as often as possible before one or both of you have to go to work.
“I wish you could come with me to Joel and Stacy’s today.” You say with your bottom lip poked out in a pout.
“Yeah, me too.” Sonny sighs. “But just think, this time next month the four of us will be on vacation and we won’t have to worry about work.”
“I can’t wait!” You exclaim in excitement. “Sun, sand, sea… another three letter ’s’ word.” You suggest with a wink and a smirk.
Sonny raises an eyebrow, a smile playing on his lips. “Maybe we can practice that last one later tonight, make sure it’s perfected.” He winks.
“Oh, I can say with confidence that we’ve perfected that, but I’m always up for some pregame practice.” You snicker and seductively lick your lips.
