Nick Amaro (Reader A)
- Nick started boxing as a way to cope with an abusive father. The club’s owner, Cragen, commonly takes in runaways and trouble makers, and turns their lives around. Cragen was actually the one to get him into the Academy.
- Cragen retired and was almost forced to give up the club, but Nick offered to take his place and run the club in his time off from his beat cop position.
- He trains his son Gil, who just so happens to be good friends with your little brother, Marcus, and takes him along to show him how to box.
- You live alone with your little brother and you’re glad that he has somewhere to go when you work late at the hospital
- When Nick shows up with a busted up face and two scared boys in his grip, you’re forever in his debt
- He admits the club’s become a danger zone after he takes to hosting and participating in some informal matches at night.
Sonny Carisi (Reader B)
- Sonny was working as a defense lawyer and started working with Nick at the club after he got him off of a charges of breaking and entering and property damages
- He trains students in the day, having taken boxing lessons in high school and college, but he also helps them with their homework, community services, and even steers them to the right colleges for their career choice.
- By night he’s Nick’s sparring partner. Sonny’s in Nick’s corner almost every night. It’s rare to find Sonny in the ring without equipment, but Nick encourages to take a leap into the dark side and join bare knuckle fighting, which doesn’t go down too well.
- You’d never approve of Sonny participating in these matches so he had initially kept the illegal matches a secret, that is until you find out the hard way.
- You are Nick’s best friend since childhood and immediately fell in love with Sonny the moment you were introduced at the club. You offered to be Sonny’s sparring partner and after each session he’d pay you back with a meal.
