“No Theresa, I have a social life. The problem is you always call on nights when I happen to have a night shift.” Sonny sighed and rolled his eyes, his partner’s daughter had gotten the flu and begged Sonny to trade shifts with her, which led to him sitting in a nearly empty precinct at 11pm at night. The detective’s shift ended at 6 the next morning and it was already shaping up to be a long night. He had only been there a couple hours and had already dealt with two peeping toms and one man caught masturbating on the subway, now he was on the phone with his older sister who was sharing her latest date disaster.
“You know Theresa, this may come as a shock to you, but there is more to life than money.” Sonny continued to talk to his sister while he threw a paper airplane in the air. The airplane flew through the bullpen only to be caught by your hand. The detective was so preoccupied, he hadn’t even noticed you entering the room. You smiled at your boyfriend and looked at the folded paper in your hand, “Nice throw, really got some air there.” Sonny smiled up at you, “Theresa, I’ll have to call you back.” He hung up the phone and walked over to you, “Y/N, what are you doing here?” You wrapped your arms around your boyfriend and gifted him with a slow passionate kiss. “I wanted to stop by and surprise you. Thought maybe you could use the company.” Sonny sighed and nodded his head, “You are definitely a welcome sight.”
You pulled your trench coat tighter around your body and glanced around the room, “So, do you have a break coming up?” Sonny gifted you with a quizzical look, you were acting strange, “In about an hour. Why are you still wearing your coat babe, it’s like 80 degrees in here.” You slowly unbuttoned your coat and took a step towards Sonny. Opening the tan trench coat just a little, your boyfriend could see that you were completely naked underneath.
