The music played lightly in the background of the bar. It’s pretty normal for you to hang out with your long-time friend, Mike, and all his coworkers. You actually really enjoyed hanging out with them and the extra time you get to spend with Mike. You always have fun telling the squad childhood stories with Mike and what he is really like, they tell stories about what Mike is like at work.
“Michael Dodds, you are an idiot.” You laugh as you sip on the remaining amber liquid housed in the dark glass bottle as he goes on about some story.
“You love me though.” He smiles that adorable smile of his with a playful wink.
“You sure about that, big guy?” You ask, raising an eyebrow and standing to your feet. “I’m going to get another drink. Do you want another while I’m up?” You ask.
“Nah, I’m okay.” He smiles. “Thanks, sweetheart.”
You smile and shake your head, walking up to the bar to order another drink, unaware of Mike’s eyes glued to you as you walk away. When he turns his attention back to his other friends, seeing them staring at him with smirks.
“What?” Mike asks, looking around at everyone sitting at the table.
“You so have a thing for y/n, don’t you?” Amanda asks with a smirk, arms folded across her chest.
“She’s my friend!” Mike exclaims, eyes wide in surprise.
“We both know you want more than that.” Sonny smiles, watching you walk back to the table.
“What are you talking about? You’re all red in the face.” You smile, gently patting his cheek and taking a seat beside him.
“It’s – uh it’s nothing. Just talking.” Mike stutters through his words.
“Whatever it is had you all flustered.” You smile and look at Fin who raises his hands up, shaking his head. “What were you talking about?”
“You,” Amanda says, taking a swig of her alcohol and laughing as she watches your face turn red.
