“What are you—I can’t go anywhere right now,” Sonny insisted, not budging as Nick finished putting on his shoes and gestured for Sonny to stand up.

“You don’t have a choice. You’re the boss. We need to go take care of this. You can finish this conversation later,” Nick replied and the expression on his face was all business. Sonny’s hands had dropped from your face and one of them was braced on your legs protectively as he continued staring up at Nick.
