What happens at “church”? Obs Sonny becomes president but anything else? And after, how does reader respond to Sonny being president? Any other drama prior to Dom Sr. funeral??

-sonny becomes president & immediately gets to work creating a plan to hunt down his father’s killer. it’s a dark first few months. bloody, too.

-supportive, grounding & cautious. sonny is, for the first time in his life, truly actualizing how dangerous he can become. he never takes it out on you, but he’s overall more volatile & mercurial than usual. 

-no drama prior, but you do have to leave for a day to take your final exam. sonny swears he’ll be fine & encourages you to go, but he unravels pretty quickly. by the time you make it back to the house (that has mother has just put up for sale) he’s chain smoking and making his way through a bottle of whiskey before noon again. chibs swears he tried to take the bottle away from him, but sonny wouldn’t let him.

he flirts with alcohol abuse during this time, but you straighten it out and make sure he doesn’t develop a real dependency.
