Lorenzo: almost 3 months

“Come on, daddy! Even Ren is dressing up!” Amelia began to protest. Sonny shook his head as he began to put the girl in her little princess dress.

“C’mon, Mia. Lorenzo is just a baby. Adults aren’t supposed to dress up.” Sonny said as he gently brushed his daughters hair and bobby pinning the crown onto her head.

“But mommy is dressing up!” Amelia pointed towards Sophia who was dressed as Cheer Bear while baby Ren had a blue shirt on and dressed like Grumpy Bear.

“Because it’s okay for mommy to dress up with you guys. If I get called into work, I don’t want to go dressed up.” Sonny tried to explain. Amelia pouted as Sonny was adjusting the costume Sophia picked out for Dante.

“I’m not going out if you aren’t dressed, daddy!” Amelia sat on the couch and pouted. Defeated, Sonny sighed as he walked into the bedroom. Sophia followed with Ren and placed him gently on the bed.

“The closet has old costumes, Sonny. I’m sure you can find something.” Sophia said as she grabbed one of the boxes from the closer. Sonny began to look through the box until he found a cape.

“Grab me a marker, doll.” Sonny said. Sophia nodded as she searched a drawer for a marker. Once she found one, she tossed it at Sonny. He quickly wrote down two letters before tying the cape around his neck and walking back to Amelia and Dante.

“Are you dressed now daddy?” Amelia asked as she looked at her father. He nodded and showed her the cape.

“Yup! Can we go now? Aunt Bella and uncle Tommy are waiting for us and nonno and nonna’s house.” Sonny said as he picked up Dante. He made sure the two older kids had their buckets before heading to the door.

“Daddy? What does ‘AN’ stand for?” Amelia asked as they walked to the car. Sonny looked back at his daughter and smiled.

“I’m the Amazing Noodle.” Sophia stifled a laugh as she put Lorenzo into his carrier before helping Dante into his seat.

“Ooh, so you’re a superhero?” Amelia asked her father. Sonny nodded and kissed her cheek.

“The best superhero in the city. Now, we should get going. We don’t want to be late.” Sonny said as he finished buckling his daughter up. Amelia giggled as her door was shut.

“The Amazing Noodle? What kind of discount superhero are you?” Sophia teased her husband.

“I’ll have you know my superpower is making the world’s best spaghetti. My children would agree with that.” Sonny said. Sophia nodded and kissed his cheek before walking to the passengers side and getting in.
