I know its all about Sonny’s mess atm but I’m curious about the club dynamics now the parlor is up and running. Even though the two clubs are working together are there still moments of friction?

carisi-dreams:

let’s talk about something other than sonny’s mess for a little bit! this is such a GREAT question thank you for asking it!

there are definitely still moments of friction. even though sonny & nick were friends growing up they haven’t spent this much time together since then. (they’re in their late twenties/early thirties so high school was about 10 years ago for them) in some respects they know each other really well and in others they have grown in ways the other doesn’t know about. they’re good at pushing each other’s buttons because they know what the other person is insecure about. so yes, there is tension from time to time. they’re business partners in this venture, but each of them is used to running things their own way…

also, the devil’s bastards (another MC) also get brought into the venture because fin has a lot of city officials in his pocket. so he brings in big upscale clients and also is another person who can help with zoning and other city bs. because the sheriff’s department is doing all they can to shut the operation down. that, of course, brings its own tension because now you have another person who is used to be in charge who has to compromise. plus, fin is arguably the most valuable asset to the club at this time because of his clientele. everyone gets along fine, but there are definitely flare ups. [another reminder that the drama with sonny & his old lady happens after the lockdown and a couple of months after fin & the bastards officially become partners in the parlor]

and then outside of the parlor the boys still have their usual business running games and dealing with their usual clients, missed shipments, trouble at the docks, etc.
