-Sonny would never jump into a relationship. He would take his time being your friend first, even if he’s jumping at the bit to make you his and he’s way too obvious about his feelings.

-He always makes you feel wanted. Your presence always lights him up like a Christmas tree and he’s all smiles because he gets to see you.

-He’s the kind of guy that gets she trying to talk about his feelings. He would just much rather show you.

-He loves seeing you wearing any of his clothes. Bonus points if it’s one of his Fordham shirts. And if that’s all you’re wearing. But really any of it he loves.

-He’s always cooking. Either out of the kindness of his heart or stress- he is cooking. And it’s always delicious and keeps your apartment smelling fantastic

-He’s extremely thoughtful giving gifts. They’re always sentimental. But he sucks at wrapping. He got you tickets to a broadway show one time and folded them up as small as he could to fit in a jewelry gift box. You’re lucky they still let you in with those crumpled messes.

-When you’re out to drink with the SVU squad, which always leads to Sonny being tipsy and snuggly as he sings your praises to the others.

-His kisses always start off gently but then become more and more sloppy and needy as the make out progresses

-He’s a needy boy and If he’s in the mood you better believe his hands are all over you trying to sneak home or at least to an unoccupied room.

-I feel like he’s definitely into lingerie and role play. He can be on the kinkier side if the mood strikes him.

-He loves to pick you up and carry you, even if he is lanky and clumsy. It makes him feel like he’s protecting you.

-His accent definitely gets heavier when he’s aroused

-Fights blow up quickly but they don’t last long. He’s a gentleman and will immediately apologise if he raises his voice AT ALL.

-If church isn’t really your thing, it means a lot to him if you’re willing to go on a special occasion for him. He lights candles for you frequently and loves to explain what his faith means to him.

-He takes up the whole bed while sleeping and just kind of absorbs you into his mass of limbs and tangled sheets
