It’s take your child to work day, and Ben is waiting for his father to be done with court. But he’s so bored! His Daddy’s iPad died, so he’s got nothing to do. The young boy decided to see what his Daddy was up to.

Ben sneaks into court when Peter is in there. He managed to sneak past Carmen and remembered the courtroom his Daddy would be in.

The boy watches his father tear apart the criminal on trial, he’s never seen Daddy like that before. It was so serious, and kind of scary. But he was a big boy, he doesn’t get scared.

After court let out, Ben ran up to his father. “Daddy you did so great!” The little boy jumped into his arms, Peter was so surprised. “Ben what are you doing here? I told you not to leave my office.” Judge Barth interrupts them.

“Mr. Stone, children are not allowed in the courtrooms,” but she’s smiling. The young boy looked just like his father. “Yes, I’m sorry your honor. My son managed to sneak in it seems. It won’t happen again.”

Barth turns to look at the boy, “your name is Ben is it?” He shyly nods, hiding his face in his Daddy’s neck. “Do you want to see what it’s like in the Judge’s Booth?” Ben smiles wide before turning to his father. “Can I Daddy, pretty please?”

Peter chuckles and sets his son down and the boy excitedly runs to the Judge’s Booth. Barth takes young Stone onto her lap and shows him what it’s like to be a Judge. “Wow you can see everything! Like you’re a Queen on a throne!” The Judge laughs and ruffles Ben’s hair.

“Are you going to be a lawyer like your Daddy one day? Then maybe you can get promoted to Judge.” Ben thinks for a moment before shaking his head. “No, I’m gonna be like Mama. She always wins arguments at home!”

Barth laughs, high fiving the boy. Peter shakes his head and laughs, “come on Benny. Mama’s waiting for us at home.” The boy slides off her lap and runs back to his Daddy. “Bye bye Judge Barth! Have a good day!” The woman waves the boys off, smiling brightly. Jack McCoy was right, he’s just like Peter when he was a boy.
