Peter, didn’t you play a perp in one episode of SVU before you got the role as Carisi?? What was it like going on the show as a one time character vs getting a major role as an entirely different character?

PS: I was happy with the small part, figured my time at SVU was done.  When they called with the Carisi offer I thought maybe they forgotten that I’d just been on as a perp. But hey, I wasn’t going to bring it up!
