You looked up at your Sonny. Tears were threatening to spill
from his beautiful blue eyes.

“I love you so much, Dominick.” You say as he plants a sweet
kiss to your lips.

“Okay, Y/N, big push. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five,
four, three, two, one.” Your eyes squeezed shut as you brought your chin to
your chest and pushed.

“Alright, we have a head. You’re doing great, Y/N. One more
push.” You obliged, filled with the need to get this baby out now. You saw Sonny leave from his position
right next to you to peek in between your legs. Despite being almost completely
out of it, you could still tell he was shocked by his facial expression. His eyebrows
furrowed, and his mouth formed an ‘O’ shape.

“H-How is that ev-even possible?” he said.

“Dominick motherfucking Carisi, you are NOT HELPING!” you
scream, your voice cracked. His eyes went big as he shut up and returned to his
cozy little spot right next to you.

You pushed more and more, until finally you hear the doctor
say, “Happy Birthday, little one.”

You look frantically down towards your core to catch a glimpse
of your baby, but you couldn’t see.

“Dad, do you want to cut the cord,” you hear. But you couldn’t
focus on anything. You couldn’t hear your baby cry. You began to breath heavier
as you saw a small bundle of joy being rushed to the back of the delivery room you
were in.

“Why isn’t the baby crying?” you say through your daze.

You vaguely heard your name being called on by the doctor. “Y/N,
what’s going on? Talk to me.”

“Dr. King is she supposed to be losing that much blood?” you
hear a nurse say. Suddenly everything went black. You heard a ringing noise
before going completely limp.

Sonny turned and saw the mother of his child pass out. He was
making sure the baby was okay when suddenly she wasn’t. He didn’t know who
needed him more. He felt his heart pound when the doctor rushed over to Y/N.

“Blood pressures dropped. Let’s get her to the OR now!” the
doctor yelled.

“W-what’s going on?” Sonny whimpered.

“Sir you need to stand back, your fiancé is hemorrhaging. We
need to take her up right now!”

It happened so fast. One minute everything was amazing and the
next it wasn’t. Sonny watched in fear as they wheeled the love of his life quickly
out of the room. The only thing that got his attention was a small cry coming
from behind him. He turned quickly to see the nurse finishing up cleaning his
baby. She picked the child up and handed it to Sonny.

He fell madly in love with his baby immediately. He sat down
with the infant to get a better look.

The baby had Sonny’s bright blue eyes and Y/N’s beautiful
lips. He ran his fingers over the top of it’s head, in complete awe.

“Hi, sweetheart,” he said softly through his tears. “I’m
your daddy. Your mommy is being taken care of by some amazing doctors but don’t
you worry. She’s a superhero.”

After a while, Sonny had to finally give his baby to the nurses,
so they could weigh, measure, and finalize the protocol for newborns.

“Do you have a name picked out yet?” Sonny shook his head.

“Out of all the things me and my fiancé planned for, we
never decided on a name. Y/N said she wanted to wait until she saw the baby,
that she wanted the name to come to her,” he said. He gulped and looked down at
his hands. “Is there any word on her?”

“I’m sorry, Mr. Carisi. I haven’t heard anything yet. But I will
try to get Dr. King on the phone if you’d like?”

“No, no. Dr. King needs to focus. I’ll be fine,” he said
quietly. But he wasn’t fine. In fact, he was quite far from it. He was freaking
out. The only thing keeping him from having a heart attack was the fact that he
was now a father. He wasn’t just responsible for himself anymore. He had a
child to take into consideration.

Hours later, Sonny had already fed his baby for the first time
and changed it’s first diaper. He felt like a pro, having taken care of his
niece many times before. He swaddled the baby and picked it up, holding it close
to his chest. He began to sing to it softly, rocking the baby back and forth.

Finally, Dr. King walked in. He would’ve jumped up at the
sight of her, but the baby was asleep.

“How is Y/N?” he demanded.

“Stable. She had a major postpartum hemorrhage, but I was able
to give her multiple blood transfusions to stop her from bleeding out. I was
also able to prevent a total hysterectomy. She will be in the ICU for a couple
hours, then we can bring her back down here.”

Sonny let out a cry he didn’t know he was holding back. “So,
she will be okay?” he said through his sobs.

“She will be okay.”

“Do you hear that, sweetheart? I told you your mommy is a
superhero!”

After a while, Y/N was finally wheeled back into the room. By
that point, Sonny’s sisters were showing up as well. He handed the baby to
Bella while the three of them stared in awe at their baby brother’s baby. It gave
Sonny a chance to sit at Y/N’s bedside and wait for her to wake up. He grabbed
her hand and placed a gentle kiss to it.

You heard whispers as you came into consciousness. You tried
to make out the voices, but you couldn’t quite tell who they belonged to. You shuffled
in your bed, letting out a small moan.

“Y/N? Baby?” you hear. You turn your head towards the voice
you know so well. You opened your eyes to see Sonny’s red and puffy ones.

“S-Sonny,” you whisper.

“Shh, doll. You’re okay.” He placed his hand on your cheek, and
you leaned into his warmth. You noticed the room get completely quiet, but you
were too weak to look around.

“T-the baby?” you ask.

She is perfect,”
he says with a small smile.

Tears fill your eyes. “It’s a girl?”

“It’s a girl, baby. We have a daughter.” You let out a laugh
as tears fell down your face. He lifted his hand and wiped them off with the
pad of his thumb.

“Where is she?” you ask.

“Right here,” you hear someone say. You turn your head to
see Sonny’s sisters and his mother, who is holding your baby girl.

Sonny holds his arms out for his daughter. “Hey, pretty girl.
This is your mommy, the superhero.”

When you saw your daughter, your heart felt so full of love.

“She’s beautiful,” you whispered. “She has your eyes, baby.”

Sonny’s eyes filled with tears once more. Today was by far
the day he had cried the most in his life. He leaned in a placed a soft, yet
passionate kiss to your lips.

“We did good, Y/N. We did good.” You let out a small laugh. Before
staring once more at your sweet baby.

“Emilia,” you say. Sonny smiles at you.

“Emilia Carisi,” he repeats.

Ok, bye. Thats all I needed in ma life. SO. CUTE.

I’m not crying, you’re crying.
