You know, I was really digging this episode until they brushed off Sonny’s trauma.

THAT IS SUCH BULLSHIT!! The man has seen TWO people die in front of him in the span of a year, and both incidents were brushed off like they were inconsequential to his mental health.

If SVU were a better show, this whole “traumatize Sonny” bit they keep writing into episodes might be leading to an arc about how high suicide rates are among men who work in law enforcement. About how Sonny’s been struggling with PTSD and suicidal ideation because of it.

But it won’t. 🙃 Because this show sucks. 🙃
